Emma Raducanu admits that Andy Murray’s involvement has become priceless to her and that she has grown to appreciate his mentoring.

After winning the US Open in 2021, Emma became an instant sensation, giving rebirth to the dwindling interest in British tennis much like when Andy Murray rose to the top. But with the media’s excessive focus firmly fixed on her and expectations weighing down on her shoulders, Emma felt a lot of pressure. However, Raducanu is aware that she can seek help from a fellow “survivor.”

“Andy Murray is so upright to talk to because he’s been through quite exactly what I’ve been going through,” Emma commented talking to Grazia. “I have always admired him and watched him winning his 1st Wimbledon and the Olympics.”

It appears that Emma Raducanu’s decision to team up with fitness coach Jez Green could be the best decision of her life. Tim Henman finally feels that she is back on the right track.

The first year Emma Raducanu spent competing on the WTA Tour was physically arduous, besieged with also several issues. Raducanu has set out to fortify herself while preventing injury after she has been plagued by injuries and a stubborn blister issue. The preparation and training of Raducanu have drawn significant debate, with people even wrongly quizzical about her commitment.

Talking with The Times, Henman remarked: “For Emma Raducanu, working with Jez Green, doing the track work, the gym work, using his skill and experience allied with her work ethic, she’ll certainly be fitter, stronger, faster. Having watched her train over the last 4 to six weeks, she’s really putting in those hard yards to build that resilience.”

Felix Auger-Aliassime is spending his free time visiting Republic du Togo, the native land of his father Sam. The Felix Auger-Aliassime has been giving $5 for each point he makes since 2020 in an effort to support children’s safety and education in the Togolese Republic, his father’s birth place.

The 2022 ATP Finals rookie has also joined hands with longtime tennis sponsor BNP Paribas, who will top up his contribution with $15 per point. The 6th-ranked player in the world has amassed 6613 points this year, bringing his overall total to 16,486. If you do the math then it works out to a whopping $ 329,780!

Felix Auger-Aliassime has plans in place to ensure that these funds are spent efficiently for the right causes.

The funds raised will support the expansion of educational sustenance groups, school supplies, instructional and sporting gear, and professional training for kids as part of the CARE International’s EduChange program. The project will help more than 2500 children, majority of whom are girls.

Djokovic began to carefully watch everything in his diet as he fought what he has termed as a type of allergic asthma that was triggered by the pressure of competition.

He attributes this makeover, which occurred under the management of a medical team, with turning him from a player on the threshold of quitting the tour into one of the greatest champions of all time. Before ultimately converting to a completely plant-based diet, Djokovic started the process by avoiding foodstuffs that contained gluten, dairy, and refined sugar.

Novak Djokovic recently discussed his everyday diet with Graham Bensinger. Djokovic conceded that back in the day he was exceptionally frustrated when he had to retire while playing some matches.

Djokovic’s dietary regime is described below:

“When I wake up in the morning I start with warm water and lemon to help my body purify. And then I drink a glass of celery juice on an empty stomach. Then I’ll take a pause and have my green smoothie with diverse algae and many fruits plus superfoods and great supplements that I use that allow me to have mental precision and feel good. I eat a good quantity of fruits for the first part of the day followed by salads.”

Then Novak Djokovic said that he avoids eating foods that require too much energy for digestion.

“I don’t like to eat any food that would consume too much energy for digestion, particularly in the first part of the day because that’s when I require bulk of my energy for training,” he added. “So I’m keeping things quite simple and I would have grains like sweet potato and normal potato, like steamed or boiled and quinoa, wild rice, etc”
